While Peter’s vision was the spark, PEKE was never meant to be about one person, it was built as a team effort. A key moment in our history came when Brian Seaholm, PE joined as COO. Brian brings extensive expertise in electrical and control systems and, along with Peter, practices under PEKE’s active Certificate of Authority as a licensed professional engineer in Montana.
Together, their skills in mechanical engineering, acoustics, and system design combined with electrical engineering and controls create a rare partnership. It is uncommon for this depth of expertise to operate side by side in the same company, and it gives PEKE a truly unique ability to integrate complex systems from concept to production.

To complement the technical vision, Dave Erickson joined as CEO. A seasoned businessman and one of the founders of Water & Environmental Technologies, Dave brings decades of experience in building and leading successful companies.
And rounding out the core leadership team is CMO, Ray Rogers. An experienced and successful entrepreneur in his own right, Ray delivers dynamic sales and marketing leadership to the team.
Collectively, the PEKE leadership team is both focused on solving the hardest technical problems and committed to ensuring the company grows sustainably and strategically.
In just two years, PEKE has grown to more than 20 employees. Today, the company operates out of Butte Connections Park, just west of town. Its facilities include modern offices, a design shop, and a small manufacturing center equipped with advanced tools: 3D printers, HAAS VF-8 CNC mill, and robotics capabilities. These resources allow PEKE not only to design solutions on paper but to bring them to life rapidly and efficiently.
What truly sets PEKE apart is not just our technical depth, but the values we were built on. Montana is different and those who live here know it. Down to earth. Honest. Friendly. Dependable. Resilient. These are not just personal traits; they are the way we do business.
PEKE was founded with the vision of building a company that could last, not just for a quarter or a contract, but for generations. We promote multigenerational resilience, creating a culture where long-term sustainability, humility, and integrity matter just as much as innovation and performance.

At PEKE, we focus on end-to-end engineering and product development:
We embrace a minimum viable product (MVP) philosophy, putting early versions of products into the hands of users. Real-world feedback drives iteration and refinement, ensuring we solve the problems that truly matter, not just the ones engineers think exist.
We also don’t sugar-coat feedback. Our clients are partners, and every project is treated as if it were our own. We are honest, direct, and practical in our assessments; an approach that saves time, reduces risk, and results in products that last.

Today, PEKE stands at an exciting crossroads. With a talented team, state-of-the-art facilities, and a growing list of clients, the company is poised for continued growth. Yet even as it expands, PEKE remains true to its founding principles: curiosity, humility, and a relentless commitment to solving the hardest problems.
As we look to the future, we remain guided by the same principles that inspired Peter to found PEKE: the belief that potential energy can become kinetic, that ideas can become reality, and that the toughest challenges are often the ones most worth pursuing.
This is our story…and we’re just getting started.
